Play2Learn is a Riverina regional program for children aged 0–3, with some eligible four-year-olds. It combines weekly supported playgroups with family support, caregiver mentoring, a six-week online parenting course and connections to specialist services. NSW Health Child and Family Health Services – Coolamon Community Health Centre

Families with children aged 0–5 can access this free NSW Health service locally, with referrals to Temora where required. For access information, call 02 6927 3548 or 0408 424 535.

Coolamon-Ganmain Multipurpose Service

Visiting services include occupational therapy, speech pathology, dietetics, women’s health, and mental health and drug and alcohol counselling for adults, children and adolescents. No referral is required, but appointments must be booked. Telehealth and wheelchair access are available. Call 02 6930 1100.

Centacare South West NSW – Early Childhood Intervention

This regional, family-centred service supports children under seven with developmental delay or disability. Assistance may be delivered at home, in childcare, in the community or by telehealth. Coolamon is within the service area, and families, carers or professionals can make direct contact without a referral on 1300 619 379.

Families experiencing housing stress, relationship breakdown, financial hardship or other challenges can seek calm, practical assistance through this Murrumbidgee regional pathway. Qualified social workers offer information, advice and connections to services such as parenting programs, financial counselling and family and domestic violence support. Self-referrals and professional referrals are accepted via fcs.murrumbidgee@54reasons.org.au.
